I've been in Sin City

Walk down the right back alley in Sin City and you can find anything.

I think I'm gonna visit this city again some day.

You get in a fight, you fight in a war, and you figure all the worst of it will be worth it for the one big moment -
- but that moment as good as it is it's never good enough -

- but this one time I wonder why ... than she falls against me ... dripping with that angel sweat of hers ... the perfect woman. The goddess.

The fire, baby, it's gonna burn us both.

Ja-ne-z:
Nad mojstrovino sem popolnoma navdušena. To je gotovo.
Če vidiš metafore, so pa skoraj same padle skupaj.

"The Sin City mythos is a comic book equivalent of the finest film-noir stories and I won't even try to venture into the complexity and chronology of its events and recurring characters. The Sin City protagonists are hard-boiled survivor types without fear who share a soft spot for the proverbial damsel in distress. In fact, most of their actions seem motivated by women. From mysterious Goldie to treacherous Ava Lord, from little Nancy Callahan to confused Esther, the femmes fatales of Sin City run the show. As Marv nails it perfectly in "The Hard Goodbye", they are "worth dying for, worth killing for and worth going to hell for."

I am attracted to these stories and their high sense of chivalry and there's probably more of me in those gutter-dwelling characters than I'd like to admit. Despite all the collateral dirt, the stories unveil unconditional love in its purest form, a love without compromises or second thoughts with guys fighting for their dames until the very end and often dying in the process. These stories truly depict that essential glory of love Lou Reed sings so beautifully about in "Coney Island Baby", a song I dare not to listen to anymore, but secretly want to."

Some things never change.

Uh, neko romantiko in melanholijo zaznavam, Pris. Dekleta v Basin City znajo to bolje skriti kot moški liki. Nevarne so te zadeve. Always and never.
